Just wanted to thank all the parents and volunteers who came out tonight for our First Annual We Love Distance night!! Unfortunately, the weather wasn't cooperative, but you all did an awesome job timing, counting, and cheering for the kids!! Thank you! Most of the kids were able to swim their 500's. We didn't get in the 1650's, but will definitely try again soon.

Thank you to all who volunteered, competed, coached, and cheered at our October Area 2 Pre-JO Developmental meet this past weekend. We had a great turn-out and some fast swimming! Results will be posted later today.

Sunrise Swimming Families, We had a great turnout tonight for our first evening Sunset Races in our new pool...46 kids!! The kids swam very well; coaches saw some improvements as well as areas to work on. Thank you to all the families who brought a dish to share; the food was incredible!! Thank you to the Booster Club for the pizza and drinks. We will likely be running these about every 2 months to give the kids a chance to race and improve their times. I will be posting results...

Thank you to all who attended and participated in the Area 2 Championships this past weekend. It was a great success! Wow! What a day! We had the pool's Grand Opening and Sizzler... thank you to the Parent Booster Club, City of Sunrise administration and staff, family, friends, and swimmers who attended today.
